Sharing in Growth beneficiary ATL, a turbine component repair business based at Baldovie Industrial Estate in Dundee, has now been added to a list of over 400 Scottish companies that have signed up to the Scottish Business Pledge.

The Scottish Business Pledge is a partnership between Government and business with the ambition of boosting productivity, competitiveness, sustainable employment, and workforce engagement and development.

Dale Harris, chief executive of ATL commented, “There are nine commitments that we must work to achieve as part of the pledge including paying all our employees at least the living wage, not using zero hours contracts, pursuing international business and committing to driving an innovation programme. As a local employer we are keen to show we are a responsible and ethical company and this pledge is a great way to demonstrate that.”

Other companies that have signed up to the pledge include Deloitte, Michelin, Santander and STV.
