Pro Vice Chancellor, Research and Enterprise at Aston University

Professor Paul Maropoulos is a distinguished Mechanical Engineer with a career spanning academia, industry collaboration and impactful technology transfer. Currently Pro Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise at Aston University, Paul was previously at Durham and Bath Universities where he published extensively and was awarded sizeable research grants from EPSRC, Innovate UK and industry. Paul has a CV filled with research project work with companies such as Airbus, Caterpillar, Nissan and Rolls-Royce, alongside work to improve SME productivity. Paul has also spoken at this year’s SiG All STAR showcase.
