Oxley Group has launched phase one of the Business Improvement Techniques NVQs through the Sharing in Growth programme.
The first wave will involve two teams and initial projects which are:
Project: Ceramics- Map the process for Ceramic Manufacturing, identifying areas for increased process control.

Project: Machining – Introduce a programme for cycle time reduction on existing machined parts, utilising tooling supply companies to complete knowledge transfer on developments with machining.

The teams have been selected from around the business so there are cross functional groups for sharing new ideas and building relationships.
Said Oxley Group marketing manager Jayne Moorby: “All 36 Oxley volunteers will have the opportunity to get involved on one of the NVQ phases. The business is completely committed to making these NVQs a success and we are looking forward to some great results from wider team efforts.”
Oxley has also completed New Product Introduction training to support its growth ambitions.
