Oxley Group presented with Inspire Trophy

Oxley Group presented with Inspire Trophy
Case study winners Oxley Group receive Sharing in Growth Inspire trophy

Having presented a winning case study at the 2019 Sharing in Growth All STAR event in June, Oxley Group were awarded the Inspire trophy.

To recognise the whole Oxley’s team’s achievement the trophy has now been handed over at the company’s headquarters in Cumbria in front of local MP John Woodcock by Sharing in Growth board member Nick Devey.

Named after SiG’s values of inspire, integrity and ikigai, three special recognition trophies are presented each year to the case study winners who demonstrate the values in action.

Oxley’s growth strategy included empowering their team to drive changes that will double turnover in five years and treble it in ten years and inspiring local talent into aerospace and STEM careers by supporting the WiAA Charter and programmes for 10,000 young people.

Said John Woodcock: “It’s extraordinary to see what you guys are doing here, it’s a tough market place to be achieving and growing.  Every time I come to Oxley I can see how engaged you are as a team and the positive atmosphere and the way you’re working together and achieving more.

“It’s exciting to have you here in the constituency with the level of ambition that you have, the growth targets you’ve set are really ambitious but the way you’ve tackled this in the last year is extraordinary.

There’s something for me to take away with regard to this particular programme.  There are so many programmes I’ve been involved in or signed off in my time, it’s rare you see this level of positivity about the way in which public sector and private sector expertise are being able to join together.”
