Recognition for Hyde apprentices

Recognition for Hyde apprentices

Apprentices from Sharing in Growth beneficiary Hyde have swept the boards at the North West Aerospace Alliance New Talent Awards.

Dalton Green of Hyde Coatings built a 3D printer and won the Innovation Award. The judges said that Dalton showed a real sense of cost awareness whilst wanting to drive the business forward.

In the same week Dalton completed his apprenticeship by achieving 1080/1080 which equated to a distinction – the highest possible mark to be achieved.

Dalton is continuing with his education by studying for a HNC.

Sam Gough was highly commended

And Sam Gough of Hyde Assemblies was highly commended. After the event Sam said he would recommend the experience to anyone, particularly as there was much to learn from making a presentation as part of the awards project.

Hyde are now offering SiG’s communication and influencing training to their apprentices.
